Christmas Papers and Upcoming Dates To Mark Your Calendar

WOW!!!! What can I say-we had a blast yesterday and last night at the "Halloween Crop." Thanks to the 21 ladies who came and played. You made it sooo much fun and worth all the work that goes into an event like that!  Pictures will follow soon!

If you didn't come to the crop or stop by the store on Saturday- you need to come and see all the fun and exciting Christmas papers. We are stocked up and ready. I will be ordering more of the wood kits (we sold out on Saturday), so take a peek at what we have left. I will be making several orders this week, so, if there is something you have been wishing we carried, or that you would like me to look into purchasing, or if you have a special request-call the store (722-9200), or stop by and ask me.

November dates to mark on your calendar:

       November 14th: "Made with Love" mini album (By Angie) $38  (It is absolutely the best and sooo adorable-a must have! What a fabulous gift it would be-a recipe album of memories of family, friends, and food!)

         November 21st: FIRST ANNUAL GARAGE SALE   (What is a garage sale you ask? You can rent a table space and bring your unwanted and loved scrapbook items, and sell them to others. Christmas is just around the corner and you may find that perfect item to give to someone for Christmas. (That's how I got my cricut machine for $70).  So call the store for more details-hurry, hurry!!!

        November 26th and 27th: Closed for the holiday-
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!  We will be open on Saturday the 28th (regular hours 10-4  Come crop for the day after your feast and family gathering-only $5)!

Gearin Up for Christmas!! Wait till you see!

Wow!! I've been really busy this week, getting ready for the big crop this weekend!  We will miss all of you who are unable to join us Saturday!! :( 

Christmas paper, and more Christmas paper- oh my, my!!  I have 148 different papers from several companies-many of your favorites for sure!! (Bo-Bunny, Cosmo Cricket, Adorn-It, Imaginesce, Jilly Bean, SEI, Karen Foster, Basic Grey, Etc. Etc. Etc.) I also have wooden books, Christmas "Dew Drops", etc. So don't be lazy-better hurry (there will be 20 hungry women coming to the crop who will be ready to grab at the paper when the doors open Saturday morning at  10:00)!

New Date- Garage Sale

So here is the new date for the Garage Sale (everything else is the same as before)! I decided that the weekend after Thanksgiving probably wasn't the best idea-sooooo- I've changed the date to November 21st (the weekend before Thanksgiving!)

Garage Sale: I am planning a "Garage Sale" for  Saturday November 21st!   
If you have any unloved or unwanted scrapbooking supplies, then you need to come on down!  Wouldn't it be nice to make some money for Christmas and clear out your old stuff?  
Well, here's your chance: Saturday November 21st, 10:00-2:00.
Call the store to reserve your table ($5 for a half table, or $10 for a full table).  Get in your scrapbook room and purge (we all need to I'm sure). 
Your old supplies could be a hidden treasure for a Christmas gift item for a friend or family member!
You won't want to miss out on the shopping either - so if you don't want a table, then come shop with us here at "Scrappin' Friends" First  Garage Sale of the year! There will be lots of sellers with LOTS of great supplies and tons of great deals.  Shop early for the best selection!  :)

Halloween Crop

I only have 5 spots left for the Halloween Crop (Oct. 24th 10 am- midnight)! Don't miss out on the fun-some in and register for the excitement!  And, ooohhh the Christmas papers that are arriving are to die for! It's so hard not to pull them out and touch, play, and design, but I'm being good and waiting just like you for the 24th! 


If you bought my latest card class as a kit, I am having trouble posting pics for some odd reason?  So, I will develop pics and have a copy for those of you who have purchased the kit already. Come in Monday for your pic, sorry for the inconvenience! :(

Card Kits

You can purchase the card kit ($3) at the store. Everything is cut and ready for you to ink and glue together-EASY PEASY!!!

News for the Week!

I went to Scrap 4 Fun's retreat this last weekend, what a great time we all had. Wanda said they had 79 women signed up. I met some new faces (glad to meet you and can't wait for you to see the store)! Wanda is adding a new retreat for the spring (March) and she has 80 signed up already-WOW!!! That will be one I look forward to!

Christmas Papers are arriving (they will preview at our "Halloween Crop" Oct. 24th).

If you haven't signed up for the Halloween Crop-you better hurry, several women from this weekend's retreat said they would be in this week to sign up-so don't miss out on all the fun for the day! (Crop from 10 am-midnight, includes lunch and dinner for $25, fun, food, contests, games, etc. plus a whole lot of scrappin').
