WINTER CROP

The Winter Crop is coming soon!!
There are only 6 spots left @ 25$. So hurry and reserve your spot before they are all gone. (Jan. 9th 10 am- midnight, includes lunch and dinner). There will be doorprizes and a fun contest running through the daily events.

BIG BIG SALE

We will begin our FIRST BIG SALE  on Monday December 28th! All printed paper (with the exception of papers in the "Look What's New" area) will be on sale-30-40% off (including Christmas papers)! Come in and get your favorites before they are gone!

We will be closed Christmas Eve day 24th - Sunday 27th. I wish everyone a very Merry Christmas! I hope to see you next week for our First Big Sale!!

Oh What Fun It Was!

Thanks to all those who participated in our First (but definitely not last) 
"Mini Make and Take."  It was a great evening, with some really fun projects. Everyone went home with some cute gifts and ideas to finish off those last minute Christmas gifts!

January 9th 10 am- Midnight including Lunch and Dinner, prizes and lots of fun!!!

All for $25 for a 1/2 table space and $30 for a whole table to yourself!
New papers for spring and Valentines will be released that day also!!

News for the week of December 7th-12th

As most of you already know, Scenic Route is going out of business. Soooo...... even though a lot of their papers have been seen or bought by most of you, I went ahead and bought some of my favorites from the past. They are due to arrive in the store tomorrow. So, hurry in and get yours quick before they are gone, because once they are gone-they are long gone!

We are having a crop this Friday eve. 5- midnight. Call the store to reserve your spot.

Don't forget we do have Gift Certificates available for that hard to buy for friend or for yourself!!!

Winter Crop-
We will have our first Annual "Winter Crop" on Jan. 9th  from 10am - midnight. Lunch and Dinner is included with games and prizes. All for either 25$ for a half table and 30$ for a full table. Full tables are limited and we are already filling up. So, if you are interested better hurry!!

Mini Make & Take Evening

Come and create at our first "Mini Make & Take" evening!!!
December 16th @ 6pm-come make 5 mini projects with some very talented teachers. 

We will also be serving homemade cookies and cider. What a great last chance to learn to make some very quick and easy last minute gift items for Christmas. All for only $15

News for the week of November 16-21st

We have several page layout kits available at the store. This is a perfect opportunity to get a quick page done of your loved ones, or to give a kit as a gift. They are only $15 and all you need is your adhesives and chalk inks if you like to chalk. They come with a colored photograph of the finished page layout design also!!  So come pick yours up-I only have 5 of each layout!

I am making a "Quick Kutz" order. If you are interested in ordering anything, let me know by Monday November 24th! All orders must be pre-paid with a deposit of half the total amount of your order.

We have many classes and exciting activities happening in December-what a packed month it will be. The December calendar will be available earlier than usual (Thurs. Nov. 19th-in the store) so you can make plans for what interests you.

Scrappin' Friends will be closing early on Wednesday November 25th (10-4) and will remain closed through the 28th for the Thanksgiving Holidays!  So come in before that if you have last minute items you might want to scrap with over the holiday. Thanks-I want to spend time with family-so important to me!!

Craft Show

Don't forget- Scrappin Friends is at an art show this weekend, at the Redding Christian Fellowship Church on Victor Ave. (if you come down HWY 44- take Victor Exit and turn Rt. and it will be on your left just after Mistletoe. If you are coming down Victor from Hartnell, it is on your left just before Mistletoe.)

We have several page layout kits, cards, my tole painted Christmas ornaments, teacher gifts already to give to your favorite teacher, etc.

Monthly Calendar Page Kit

We will be starting a Calendar Kit Page Per Month. Each month you will get the materials to design a page for your calendar. Everything will be cut and put together for you to complete your page. We will begin next month (January Page).  Look for more details to follow.

Week of November 9th-13th

Bling-Bling!! We have new colors of rhinestones in. We also got several new colors of Bazzill, cat eyes, and stickles.  We also recieved "Label" nestabilities!! They are going quickly!

Stacy brought in her class project for December 1st. "Holiday Memories" It is only $20 and oh so cute! Come in and sign up-she only has 9 spots available.   

She is also doing another class on the 6th of December. It is a mini album with the new Fancy Pants-"Christmas Magic" papers. I am sure it will be one we all will want to add to our to do list!  She will bring it in very soon.

Our "Holiday" card class scheduled for the November 16th at 6:00 pm (thursday night) is almost full, so if you want a spot-better hurry! You get to make 4 cute cards for only 16$. If you can't make it that night-we will gladly put a kit together for you!! Let us know by the 16th!!!

Purge, Purge, Purge- Get rid of your old (but gently used) scrapbook items at the garage sale scheduled for November 21st. Reserve your table and if you don't want to Purge, you can come and buy instead. :)

Art Show and New Product

Sorry-last post I didn't give Art Show Details:  The show is at the Redding Christian Fellowship on Victor Ave. (on left just after Mistletoe-coming from 44).

Christmas Papers and Upcoming Dates To Mark Your Calendar

WOW!!!! What can I say-we had a blast yesterday and last night at the "Halloween Crop." Thanks to the 21 ladies who came and played. You made it sooo much fun and worth all the work that goes into an event like that!  Pictures will follow soon!

If you didn't come to the crop or stop by the store on Saturday- you need to come and see all the fun and exciting Christmas papers. We are stocked up and ready. I will be ordering more of the wood kits (we sold out on Saturday), so take a peek at what we have left. I will be making several orders this week, so, if there is something you have been wishing we carried, or that you would like me to look into purchasing, or if you have a special request-call the store (722-9200), or stop by and ask me.

November dates to mark on your calendar:

       November 14th: "Made with Love" mini album (By Angie) $38  (It is absolutely the best and sooo adorable-a must have! What a fabulous gift it would be-a recipe album of memories of family, friends, and food!)

         November 21st: FIRST ANNUAL GARAGE SALE   (What is a garage sale you ask? You can rent a table space and bring your unwanted and loved scrapbook items, and sell them to others. Christmas is just around the corner and you may find that perfect item to give to someone for Christmas. (That's how I got my cricut machine for $70).  So call the store for more details-hurry, hurry!!!

        November 26th and 27th: Closed for the holiday-
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!  We will be open on Saturday the 28th (regular hours 10-4  Come crop for the day after your feast and family gathering-only $5)!

Gearin Up for Christmas!! Wait till you see!

Wow!! I've been really busy this week, getting ready for the big crop this weekend!  We will miss all of you who are unable to join us Saturday!! :( 

Christmas paper, and more Christmas paper- oh my, my!!  I have 148 different papers from several companies-many of your favorites for sure!! (Bo-Bunny, Cosmo Cricket, Adorn-It, Imaginesce, Jilly Bean, SEI, Karen Foster, Basic Grey, Etc. Etc. Etc.) I also have wooden books, Christmas "Dew Drops", etc. So don't be lazy-better hurry (there will be 20 hungry women coming to the crop who will be ready to grab at the paper when the doors open Saturday morning at  10:00)!

So here is the new date for the Garage Sale (everything else is the same as before)! I decided that the weekend after Thanksgiving probably wasn't the best idea-sooooo- I've changed the date to November 21st (the weekend before Thanksgiving!)

Halloween Crop

I only have 5 spots left for the Halloween Crop (Oct. 24th 10 am- midnight)! News for the Week!

I went to Scrap 4 Fun's retreat this last weekend, what a great time we all had. Wanda said they had 79 women signed up. I met some new faces (glad to meet you and can't wait for you to see the store)! Wanda is adding a new retreat for the spring (March) and she has 80 signed up already-WOW!!! That will be one I look forward to!

Christmas Papers are arriving (they will preview at our "Halloween Crop" Oct. 24th).

If you haven't signed up for the Halloween Crop-you better hurry, several women from this weekend's retreat said they would be in this week to sign up-so don't miss out on all the fun for the day! (Crop from 10 am-midnight, includes lunch and dinner for $25, fun, food, contests, games, etc. plus a whole lot of scrappin').

I am going to place an order for the ATG Gun Dispenser, this is a special order, and I will only be ordering for those that would like one. There is a 25 dollar deposit due before ordering. (I am going to place the order on Monday-October 5th). The cost is $50. If you would like me to order one for you, come in and leave your deposit.

We have a crop tonight (limited spots available) call to make sure there is room if you are planning on dropping by tonight to crop.

Halloween All Day Crop!

Bazzill and Bo Dot

I ordered 65 more colors of Bazzill cardstock and 18 more colors of Bo-Dot!  They should arrive by the end of next week.  Come take a peek at all the colors!  I also have ordered stickles, and adhesive (refills for the small pink guns and ATG tape) which will also arrive this next week!

I am slowly but surely painting our new signs for the outside of the building. Sorry for the slowness-soon it will be no trouble at all for everyone to find us!  Thanks for those who have stopped by after your long search for the store.

We had our first crop last night-FUN!  It was a small group, but we managed to still have fun.  So, maybe next week will be busier-come on in and sign up, call (722-9200), or sign up here and I will add you to the list.

Opening Day and crop this Friday the4th!

What a great first day-WOW!  Thanks to all of you who made it in and your support! It was exciting to see all of you!!  For those of you who didn't have a chance to make it in today-I look forward to seeing you soon!  If you did make it in, I received some new papers this afternoon! I had a few people ask about a crop for this week on Fri. eve.-If I can get 8 people to sign up, I will hold a crop this week. (My thinking was with Labor Day weekend, not man\y would be interested-but if you are, we will go with it)!
