Hello Friends-
I hope this post finds all of you enjoying the Spring weather we are finally getting here in Redding!
This post is being written with both Joy and Sadness! I have sold the store. I am excited for what the future will bring my way, and sad that I will not see your smiley faces daily, weekly and monthly! I will be closing this weekend (7th). So our crop this weekend will be the last for Scrappin' Friends! (we will be open both Fri. and Sat from 10-midnight and I still have 1 spot left).
The new store owner Jenney Gannon is also very excited and nervous as she ventures out on this new ride. I wish her luck and know you all will support her! I have worked hard to build this business and you have supported me well-I know you will enjoy the new store!
Jenney has plans to make changes, which includes the name! The new name will be "She's Crafty." Her new blog is:

I want to thank all of you for being so loyal and for being supportive over the last 2 years. It has been a fabulous ride and one I will surely miss.

Calendar change-National Scrapbook Day Event
Hello Friends-
I hope you have all been well and enjoying our Spring weather (as strange as may be)! It has been a busy beginning to the month of April, and as I look ahead, I realized that our crop on the 16th is also Cool April Nights weekend and also the Red Bluff Round-Up! So, needless to say we have had small numbers signing up for the crop and then some who signed up early and then they too realized the busy city goings-on and some have had to cancel out. Soooo...... since we had such a fun event planned, I decided to cancel this one and move forward to May!
This is what we are doing:
National Scrapbook Day (2 Day Crop)!!!!
We will crop on Friday May 6th from 5-midnight and then on Sat. May 7th (National Scrap Day) from 9-midnight.
Come celebrate with us!!!! Here's what you get-

April Class and Event Descriptions
Hi Friends-
The weather has been challenging and I hear tiresome for many (personally, I am not looking forward to the heat-maybe a little less rain-but not heat)! None the less, we have been very busy this month at the store with classes, some great crops, sale days, and new product, and April will prove no different!
So here is a description of all that is happening in April.

• 19th-Life is Fun Mini Album 5:30 PM: This is a fun interactive flap album that will preserve a special memory. $34 Call to sign up!
• 20th-Cinch Demo Address Book & Sale 5:30 PM: We are offering a 20% off the CINCH machine when you order it and binding wires(which we have in stock)! Misty is going to help you learn how to use the Cinch binding machine. If you have a Bind-It-All and have trouble using it, or don't know how-then this is the class for you! You will make an address book and then be able to practice using the cinch. As the name implies-Its a CINCH to use! Call to reserve your spot.
• 26th-Flower Making Technique 5:30 PM: Have you been wanting to learn how to make fun flowers to add to your layouts, cards, or altered projects? Come learn how to make some fun flowers, learn some easy techniques that will add character, beauty, and spice to your scrapping! Call to reserve your spot!
• 27th-Coloring Technique Cards 9:30 AM: I am changing things up with our card classes. You will get 4 fun stamped images to color and all the materials to put the 4 cards together (all 4 are designed for you ). The class will consist of practicing or learning how to color with your favorite medium 1 of the stamped images, and then we will learn a new card making technique with one of the other pre-designed cards. The last two cards will come with a photo and coloring directions for youl to complete at your leisure! Come in and take a peek at this months cards! $20 Call to reserve your spot.

Wow!!! What can I say-it was a great day! It sure was great to see so many smiley faces today. Many of you copic fans came in and pre-ordered your copic markers and a few of you watched a coloring demo and discussion about copics. It was a great day!!!
You still have time to pre-order your copics if you couldn't join us today! I will be placing the order on Thurs. morning, so you need to have your colors pre-ordered by Wed. in order to recieve a 20% OFF discount.
The pens normally retail for 6.50$, so, with your discount it works out to be 5.20$ per pen. There is no minimum order and the discount is also good on any copic products (including pen storage wallets, refill ink, nibs, etc.).
Call or come in and make your order-Hurry, Hurry before its too late!

Any Day Now.....

Do you need a day away from the hussle and bussle of everyday life and family doings? Then here is the day for you! Not only can you accomplish something, but you get to enjoy the day just for you! Bring your favorite dish to share with us, your supplies needed to crop, and we will supply the laughter, friendship, prizes, and any suggestions you might need to help you complete your projects. We should have lots of new product in by this date also!!! We will crop from 10-midnight $20 Call to reserve your spot ahead-spaces usually fill up quickly!
March 22nd: Watch Me Grow
This adorable project can either be a growth chart to watch the growth of your child or grandchildren, or it can be made into a mini album to preserve the memories of your child or grandchildren through the years. It is sooo cute and has a surprise element attached to it!

March 2nd: Angel Club Hostess Group
We have openings to join this fun group of ladies, learn a new stamp technique, and make a fun project or card all for only $5. With this you also make the commitment to order a minimum of $15 in stamps or product from the Angel Company Catalog. Angie Kelley is our Demonstrator and Consultant. You will be the hostess at one time or another, and recieve lots of free product as well. So call to join us-there is limited avialable spots!
March 4th: Friday Night Crop
Come join us for a fun evening of laughter, great conversation and to get some of those much needed layouts completed that are stashed away in your ever growing pile! (I know you have one of those piles)! We will crop from 5-midnight $10 Call to reserve your spot!
March 5th: Copic Pre-Order Event and Sale
Come pre-order Copic Markers that you may have been wanting to purchase for a discount of 20% off any pens you order! We will also have a mini class today with copics. I will be sharing what knowledge I have using the copic markers. I am by no means an expert, but I will share what I have learned and what works best for me. Come watch (or play with your copics) some basic techniques to use when coloring with your copics. You will have the opportunity to pre-order any colors you may want. Pre-Order event starts at 1:00-3:00 PM and the mini class begins at 10 AM Call for more details and to sign up! Limited space for the class.

March 10th: Scor-Pal Class
Do you have a Scor-Pal and you don't know how to use it? Or, maybe you have been thinking about purchasing one, but don't want to spend the money because you aren't sure about it? Then this is the class for you-come learn how to use a Scor-Pal, make a fun project and if you don't have one yet, then you can get a 20% discount when you order one. March 16th: Simple Everyday Card Class
Misty has 4 adorable cards to share with us this month. These are very simple cards (no coloring involved), and all materials are pre-cut and ready for you to assemble. Come have some fun and play with us! 4 cards $16 10:00 AM

March 19th: Potluck Crop
Do you need a day away from the hussle and bussle of everyday life and family doings? Then here is the day for you! Not only can you accomplish something, but you get to enjoy the day just for you! Bring your favorite dish to share with us, your supplies needed to crop, and we will supply the laughter, friendship, prizes, and any suggestions you might need to help you complete your projects. We should have lots of new product in by this date also!!! We will crop from 10-midnight $20 Call to reserve your spot ahead-spaces usually fill up quickly!
March 22nd: Watch Me Grow
This adorable project can either be a growth chart to watch the growth of your child or grandchildren, or it can be made into a mini album to preserve the memories of your child or grandchildren through the years. It is sooo cute and has a surprise element attached to it!

March 24th: Copic Pocket Mini Album
Do you need a fun way to keep track of your copic colors, samples of coloring techniques, and suggestions to remember all in one handy place? Then this is the class for you! You will make an adorable cover for your album, and create the pages to keep track of all your copic needs. 5:30 PM

Still Up and Running
I thought I should address a concern many of you are having.....
We are still OPEN!!! Yes, the store is (unfortunately) for sale. But, NOTHING is changing as of now. If, I don't find a buyer, I will be remaining open until further notice. So, things will remain the same-don't worry, I am not going anywhere right now or in the near future!!!
We have ordered new product lines, and they will begin shipping at the end of the month-so keep posted for that news. I will let you know when they are arriving!!!
We do have classes, crops, etc. with openings-please stop by and keep us going!

Scrappin' Friends News
I am sad to say, that I must put Scrappin' Friends up for sale. This has been a difficult decision for me, but it is necessary, as my husband has not been able to work much this last year, and therefore, I must go back to work. So, the store is for sale. If you are interested in purchasing it, give me a call and we can talk!

Angel Company Stamp Club
Hello to all-
Angie Kelley is our Angel Company Stamp Demonstrator. Angel Company Stamps are fabulous rubber stamps that are reasonably priced and the catalog is very large with a great assortment of stamps. We have a very fun club that is held monthly here at Scrappin' Friends on the first Wed. of each month at 9:30 in the morning. Angie brings a fabulously fun project each month to complete and demonstrates some great techniques for us to try and play with. As a member of the club, you are required to purchase $15 in stamps, or other catalog goodies and pay a club fee of $5 (which covers the cost of the project) each month. So for very little cost, you get to create with others that enjoy stamping, and meet up with friends each month.
If you are interested in joining, please give us a call here at Scrappin' Friends, and I will pass the info. onto Angie. She only takes 12 people in the club, and we currently have a couple of openings. Don't miss out on the fun!! (722-9200)

Then this box is just the class for you! You will be able to keep track monthly with dividers for each month and a place to write the names of those you need to give a card to, and dividers for all other types of occasion cards. (phots coming soon)
